UMD Men Land 6-4 Goalie Who Led Grand Rapids To State Championship

The goaltender who backstopped Grand Rapids High School to its first state boys hockey title in 37 years is going to be a Bulldog.

Thunderhawks’ goalie Zach Stejskal verbally committed via Twitter on Wednesday to play for Minnesota Duluth in future. The 6-foot-4 junior from Grand Rapids started in all three games for the Hawks at the Minnesota Class AA state championship at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
