Two Future Bulldogs, Two From Coleraine Taken In USHL Futures Draft

A pair of Minnesota Duluth recruits and a pair of St. Cloud State recruits from Coleraine went Monday in the United States Hockey League Futures Draft.

Future Bulldog Jake Hale, a forward from Minneapolis, went in the first round, 13th overall, to the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Another UMD verbal commitment, forward Luke Mylymok of Wilcox, Saskatchewan, went in the fourth round to the Green Bay Gamblers.

Also going in the fourth round was defensemen Christian Miller of Coleraine to the Sioux Falls Stampede. His fellow Greenway Bantam A teammate, forward Ben Troumbly, went in the seventh round to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Both Miller and Troumbly verbally committed to the Huskies this spring.

Players selected in Monday’s USHL Draft are future prospects and teams were limited to only picking players born in 2001. Today’s USHL Draft is for next season and includes players born in 1997 through 2001.
