Bulldog Insider: Bulldogs Begin Their Quest For Olympic Gold In Pyeongchang

If you haven’t noticed, it’s Olympic week on the Minnesota Duluth hockey beat with the 2018 Winter Games getting underway in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Between the UMD men’s and women’s hockey teams, there are 12 current and former Bulldogs in this year’s games. You can find a rundown of all those involved here.

Pyeongchang is 15 hours ahead of us here in Duluth, so it will be tough for most people to watch a lot of the Bulldogs live. I picked out three games you shouldn’t miss here.

For more on the Bulldogs taking part in this year’s Olympics, check out this week’s edition of Bulldog Insider, which includes features on Maddie Rooney, Sidney Morin, Robb Stauber and Sarah Murray.

There’s also a preview capsule of this week’s WCHA series for the current UMD Bulldogs against Wisconsin. That begins today.
